APIS CARM-Server und APIS CARM-NG-Server
APIS CARM-Server
The APIS CARM-Server is an active server that co-ordinates communication with the APIS IQ-RM Tools.
The CARM-Server is a storage location for catalogs. Using these catalogs within the APIS IQ-Software and its input collector guarantees consistent naming. Additional expenses for translation can be avoided.
The CARM-Server is also a storage location for reusable modules. When integrating modules into projects, it is possible to manually or automatically update those parts later.
The CARM-Server is able to automatically read FME files and process actions. Typical actions are the export to HTML or PDF, updating of built-in modules or notification of responsible persons by e-mail.
The CARM-Server has a web interface. Accessing data on it is done by a web browser.
The perfect addition
With this range of functions the CARM-Server is a perfect addition of the APIS IQ-Software if you work with catalogs and modules across locations, or if you want to automatize tasks.
Characteristics
- Modular expandable server
- Administration functionality
- Certification of clients upon first access
We would be happy to give you the best advice on which combinations of the IQ-Software and CARM-Server Services (CSS) and CARM-Server Agents (CSA) will meet your needs at its best.

APIS CARM-NG-Server
The APIS CARM-NG-Server is also an active server, that co-ordinates communication with the APIS IQ-RM Tools.
One of the most important, new functions is the connection to SQL data bases. Generally this will be an already existing SQL data base, such as Oracle or MS SQL.
With this connection it is possible to use and edit FME files without using IQ-Software. Because of the restrictions of the SQL data bases the information, which will be exchanged, will be limited to very simple data, which is presentable in table-form, such as actions with status, responsible persons and date.
A web interface enables the access to the SQL data base. So it is possible to view and edit the data, which originates from the FME file, with a web browser.
After transfering the data back into the FME file also there the information is updated there.
We would be happy to give you the best advice on how your requirements can be fulfilled.
