iCalendar (RFC 2445)

iCalendar is a standardized file format which allows internet users to send meeting requests and tasks to other internet users, via email, or sharing files with an .ics extension.

IQ creates iCalendar files based on the tasks in a document and emails them to the responsible persons. The notification mail contains a description of the tasks and has an attached iCalendar file. This can then be imported into Outlook (MS) or Lightning (Thunderbird).
