I very much enjoyed your presentation, this is not a question just some discussionm points. I like your use of the dual matrix, 2 simple 10×10 matrices to identify the transistion from green to yellow and from yellow to red for the detection rankings. I am going to think about this some more.

I have done my own evaluation of AP ranking agianst RPN and find that, for me, the AP ranking is less risk averse and so I am not happy with the published AP Ranking table. I have opted for use of the SxO matrix as an instantaneous techncial risk of my design and then using the Detection ranking to define a project risk as a measure of what actions you are prepared to undertake for the SxO value within your project. Incidentally, I am working with the old AIAG defintions of Detection Ranking as they work better for me in this scenario.

    Thank you

    Quote of Mr. Landschoof:

„I am pleased that you enjoyed my presentation.
With the double matrix one has the possibility to present an evaluation without influence of the discovery D (thus only SxO matrix) and with influence of the discovery D according to AIAG / VDA 2019. Of course all intermediate forms, e.g. only a minimal E influence, are also possible. I am sure that based on your current evaluation you can generate a double matrix where the discovery E also influences the technical risk.
I am convinced that the inclusion of E makes sense.
