With a share of 59 percent in the market for FMEA software, the APIS Informationstechnologien GmbH is the market leader in Germany. That was found out by mechanical engineering graduate Frank Sommer in a scientific survey at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation.

This scientifically documented distribution confirms the impression that industry experts have had for a long time. The reference list on www.apis.de reads like the Who's Who of the German automotive industry. As the survey further shows, FMEA software is not only applied in the automotive industry, other industry sectors also see the potential for saving costs by avoiding mistakes.
