The IQ-Software is installed in one or more operating system environments, but can be activated only when a USB dongle has been inserted.
The network version basically consists of two components:
Network component: License management software supplied by APIS is installed on a server or network drive that you administrate.
Client component: The actual IQ-Software (IQ-FMEA or IQ-RM) is installed on local computers (clients), which are then released by the license server.
The number of clients to work simultaneously with the IQ-Software depends on the number of purchased seats (concurrent users).

Two options are available for client use:
Permanent connection to the license server
Temporary booking out of seats: The user gets clearance from the license server for a specified period of time. During that time, the software may be used offline. At the end of the selected time, the seat is returned to the server and is available to other users again.
